On World Photography Day – 19th August 2010 our association the Goan Shutterbugs was launched at the hands of the then Chief Minister of Goa.
The whole idea of forming our association started on 6th September 2009, when SEVEN shutterbugs – Saish Borkar, Saurabh Dalvi, Apoorv Bhembre, Nilesh Prabhudesai, Sayli Sawant, Radhakant Divkar and Lynn Barreto Miranda met on a rainy day to have a photo walk in Borda, Margao. This small step turned out to be a giant catalyst in forming, Goa’s First Photography Association “The GOAN SHUTTERBUGS”
